Manchester United: Louis van Gaal Allows Danny Welbeck to Leave Old Trafford

After Louis van Gaal made a declaration that seven players would be allowed to leave Manchester United, van Gaal allows Danny Welbeck to leave. Van Gaal has deemed Marouane Fellaini, Javier Hernandez, Rafael, Nani, Anderson, Wilfried Zaha and Will Keane and now Welbeck will be deemed surplus as more targets are being lined up to come into Old Trafford.
Van Gaal has been looking for more players to fill the 3-5-2 wing back formation and to increase the amount of world-class players at the club. As of now, van Gaal has only two world-class players in Wayne Rooney and Robin van Persie and will be looking to add Angel Di Maria and more midfield players. Welbeck probably will not get many starts this season with the amount of depth at the forward position. Welbeck has two years left on his contract and would be a good pick up for any club in Europe since Welbeck has plenty of soccer left in the tank and can be successful anywhere.
Over the last couple weeks, van Gaal went from being an angel to a devil after deeming eight players as surplus. Van Gaal has been looking to make changes to the club after an unsuccessful season last season and a rough start to this season with a loss to Swansea City. Allowing Welbeck to leave the club will allow 18-year-old, James Wilson to be promoted to the club. Wilson has plenty of potential and could wind up being the face of the franchise along with Adnan Januzaj.
With van Gaal allowing the departure of Welbeck, Hull City might be on the prowl for the forward in an effort to strengthen the forward line after losing Shane Long to Southampton this season. The transfer window closes on September 1st and I have yet to see any of the allowed departures make a move to another club.
