With all the superstars and incredibly talented players on Real Madrid, reality had to be faced by some of the excess forwards of the club. With the arrival of James Rodriguez as well as Cristiano Ronaldo and Karim Benzema holding the front line, Carlo Ancelotti, had to make a decision about who would leave and who would stay. Alvaro Morata unfortunately was transferred out of Real Madrid and will now play for Juventus.

According to www.Goal.com, Morata completed his transfer to Juventus for €20 million and is set for a five-year deal. However, Real Madrid will be able to buy Morata back at the end of the 2015-16 season if Morata’s transfer worth is €30 million or more. This is a very smart move by Real Madrid’s front office, if you ask me. With the option to buy back Morata, Real Madrid can determine whether or not Rodriguez is living up to his potential in which Morata would likely take his place. That’s a long shot though. I don’t see Rodriguez underperforming at Real Madrid due to his ability to shine in big games – and what’s bigger than La Liga?

If you are having trouble wondering who Morata is exactly, simply look up his highlight videos on YouTube. Morata is quick on the ball, has great field vision, can score from distance and holds onto all the intangibles that a coach would want in a forward. The Spanish striker will develop in Italy and can only get better as the years transpire.

One problem arises for Morata, however. At Juventus, there are a good amount of quality strikers such as Mirko Vucinic, Fernando Llorente and Carlos Tevez. With the number of strikers at the club, will Morata get the playing time that he deserves? I think Morata will. With a new manager coming into the club, a new formation will be installed which could end up being a 4-3-3 which will allow Morata to possibly start beside Vucinic and Llorente at the top of the field.

However you slice it, this is a huge signing for Morata and Morata will excel at Juventus.
